Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 consists of an aminopeptide that reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. When applied to the skin of the face and neck, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 helps relax the muscles by temporarily limiting the overproduction and release of neurotransmitters. The contractions of the facial muscles are initiated and controlled.
When the muscles relax, the skin relaxes and becomes flatter, reducing the appearance of wrinkles. Due to the good water-binding properties, the elasticity of collagen and the activity of elastin are increased, thus improving the skin's appearance. Acetyl hexapeptide-8 can be used day and night in the normal skin care Routine.
