Hamamelis extract is made from leaves and bark of witchhazel shrubs. It has an astringent effect, and is especially beneficial for large-pored, impure, chapped skin. Main active components are tannins like hamamelitannin, ellagtannin, essential oils, flavonoids, gallic acid.
