Why Green PE?
This bio-based PE uses a renewable raw material.
Sugar cane is a frugal plant, it already binds CO2 from the air during growth and requires little water. Its plant fibres also make an excellent biological fuel. Therefore, no fossil raw materials are needed for the production of Green PE.
The result: one tonne of Green PE can save up to 3.09 tonnes of CO2.
The cans and bottles made of Green PE can be incorporated into the established recycling system via the yellow bag and sent for recycling.
