INCI: Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate (and) Polyglyceryl-6 Oleate (and) Polyhydroxystearic Acid
PolyAquol™VO4 is a new patented technology in the field of emulsions. Unlike standard emulsifiers, it literally creates a water-oil fusion. It is completely natural according to Cosmos certification and palm-free.
PolyAquol™VO4 is a light creamy paste that enables the formation of cold process emulsions. The special feature of this emulsifier is the ability to absorb 80% water and still create stable emulsions with fantastic sensory properties, at a feed concentration as low as 2%. The higher the water phase, the firmer the result.
PolyAquol™VO4 must be added to the oil phase, into which the water phase is slowly incorporated under intensive stirring. The coarsely dispersed pre-emulsion is then homogenized. The temperature of the water and oil phases should be approximately the same. In the presence of a liquid oil phase, heating during the emulsification process is not mandatory.
