INCI: Avena Sativa Kernel Oil
Oats are a well-known cultivated plant and are used in many ways. Among other things, oats contain sterols, triterpene saponins such as avenacin and avenacoside. Despite the high profile and popularity of oats, the oil extracted from them is less well known and rare. The golden yellow oat oil is used in skin-soothing formulations. It has a balanced proportion of oleic and linoleic acid and is thus similar to argan oil.
