Botanical Name: Helichrysum italicum
The sun-loving Immortelle, also a strawflower, has its home in dry, stony locations in the Mediterranean countries. The smell of Immortellen Hydrolate reminds a little bit of fresh hay in the glow of summer heat, woody, warm, spicy with a slightly musty note. Immortelle has a calming effect, especially on skin problems and cares for particularly stressed skin. It also has a wound healing, anti-inflammatory and regenerative effect. Thus it is used as a spray, compress, gel, cream, mouthwash, poultices, etc.
