INCI: Hydrogenated vegetable oil
Viscolid palm oil free is a natural oil thickener in powder form. It is used to transform liquid oils into soft and creamy textures. The resulting product is an elegant, soft oil paste that can be easily applied to the skin without smearing or dripping. There is no impact on the sensory properties of the oils and therefore Viscolid palm oil free is ideal for massage oils.
This 100% natural ingredient can also be used in W/O formulations such as night creams and protective formulations of all kinds. It provides a very good thickening effect without feeling heavy on the skin. In addition, this natural oil thickener shows no tendency to oxidise, so it remains stable during the lifetime of a product and does not change colour or odour.
The application concentration is 3-5% to increase viscosity in oils and 1-3% as a film former and thickener in W/O formulations.
