INCI: Hydrated Silica

With a particle size of 10-12 µm, Hydrated Silica is the perfect filler in skin care products. Small wrinkles are visually blurred by the "soft focus" effect and in addition, an elegant, soft and supple skin feeling is conveyed. Hydrated Silica also helps to reduce stickiness in formulations such as sunscreens. The benefits of Hydrated Silica in colour cosmetics are that the even particle size distribution imparts a unique, silky-soft, non-drying skin feel. It can be used in a variety of applications, such as powder and lipstick formulations to achieve a silky matte finish.
