Carnauba wax is extracted from the Brazilian wax palm and is the hardest wax of natural origin. For this reason, carnauba wax plays an important role especially in decorative cosmetics. It gives lipsticks, kajal and mascara pencils the necessary stability even at higher temperatures, which is particularly advantageous in the summer months.
